Each September, Belize comes alive with vibrant colors, infectious rhythms, and unshakable patriotism as the nation commemorates its most cherished milestones—the Battle of St. George’s Caye Day (September 10th) and Independence Day (September 21st). These two historic events are the heart of the September Celebrations, a month-long festival of culture, history, and national pride.
The peninsula will be decked out in blue, red, and white as parades take over the streets. Join the celebrations of freedom, unity, and identity.
