Manatee Inn is a very clean, well priced, 60 yards from the beach 8 room hotel run by a young Canadian/European couple.
The Inn is located in the north, quiet part of the Placencia village and yet a short 4 min. walking distance to the much busier center of the village.
Manatee Inn offers clean, comfortable rooms with cathedral ceilings, exotic hardwood floors, refrigerators, fans and modern private bathrooms with H/C showers.
It is completely surrounded by a verandah on both floors to view the spectacular sunsets, the sea and the lagoon. Hammocks and balcony chairs are provided for relaxation, reading, or just taking a nap in the breeze.
Eco-adventures can be arranged by Manatee Inn to the Cayes, Monkey River,
Cockscomb Jaguar Preserve and Mayan Ruins. Other activities include swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, fishing, sea kayaking, and manatee watching.
