Lost Reef Resort is a beautiful beachfront resort situated at the very top of the Placencia Peninsula in the quiet seaside community of Riversdale.

With 117' of gorgeous sandy Caribbean Sea beach, the setting is perfect. Our name is adopted from the coral reef situated just offshore; plenty of marine life makes this the perfect spot for snorkeling.

Enjoy a refreshing swim in our fresh water pool built right on the beach or just relax poolside. We offer complimentary use of snorkeling gear, sea kayaks, on shore fishing gear, horseshoes and bocce ball.

The cayes are located approximately 9 miles east of the property and the Barrier Reef is 14 miles away. Placencia Village and airstrip are only 15 and 12 miles south, making The Lost Reef accessible by boat, car or plane.

Our five air conditioned cabanas are authentically Belizean in decor and come with private bathrooms, verandahs, and a view of the Caribbean Sea. 4 Deluxe Cabanas have a queen size bed and 1 Cabana is furnished with a twin bed and a double bed. All have a ceiling fan, a dresser, night tables and a closet.

Enjoy beautiful views from our outdoor dining room or inside our new renovated restaurant. On Cabana Tuesdays come and enjoy an hour of complimentary appetizers and local rum drinks. You can catch up on world events on our television at the bar as our Chef prepares your choice of Belizean, Seafood, Italian or American style dishes. One thing is for sure, you won't leave hungry. .
